Can anyone give me a short overview of the steps needed to set up a PMO site
and one project site? I am very familiar with WSS and have read tons on SPS
and Project Server, but can't get the basics on how it should work. Like, do
I set up a Team Site for the PMO and then publish my 'Project 1' MS Project
Professional .mpp to that site? And it automatically creates a sub site for
Project 1 where I can set up Document Libraries and Lists? If this is the
correct flow, does this mean that when I set up 'Project 2' and publish it to
the PMO site, it will create another sub site? And, can the PMO Director
pull both of those project plans into one Master Plan? Thanks, Annem

Well, may be this topic be more closer to Project Server than sharepoint,
but from point of sharepoint as you know every project create a subsite and
you can use document library and Issue tracking features. In sharepoint you
can do much. May be you create some document library and lists or create
webparts to get what you want.

Thanks, yes I know how to do that sort of stuff. What I can't find is what
the relationship to the main PMO site needs to be. If I am in a site called
PMO and I publish a project called "Project 1" does it create the site as a
subsite of 'PMO'? Or if I change it to NOT Automatically create the site,
but rather set it to Manual, and then I create a subsite, how do I tie the
project plan to the parent site? Any ideas on that?
